WhatsDo

Someone just asked ChatGPT for a 4pm on your street. It gave them a name. Not yours.

Your calendar, your prices and your front desk stay exactly as they are.

No new software and no card. You can turn the connection off from your own account at any time.

  • Square2:00 PM

    Balayage with Maria$120

ChatGPT was asked for this hour this morning. Nobody called.

  • Square4:00 PM

    Gel manicure with Dani$65

Gemini was asked twice yesterday. The chair is still free.

  • Square5:30 PM

    Reformer for two$180

Perplexity was asked at eleven last night. Both spaces are open.

  • Square6:15 PM

Claude was asked this afternoon. The hour is yours to lose.

Customers ask an assistant for a time near them. Whether one can be held depends on the system behind your calendar.

Runs on

Square Appointments

An assistant can already name the shops on your street. Not one of them could take the booking it just earned.

What we read
Med spas across San Francisco, one by one, on 29 July 2026.
What came back
Most of them were named by an assistant when a customer asked for one.
Where it stopped
Not one ran a booking system an agent could complete a booking in.

Being findable is where this stops being enough. An assistant that can name you and cannot book you sends the customer to whoever it can book.

Where a booking travels, and where it stops today

An engraving: a hand made of drifting paper slips reaches from the left towards the hand of a shopkeeper reaching back across their counter. Their fingertips almost meet above an open appointment book, and a single blue spark bridges the gap between them.

An assistant asks for a real appointment. WhatsDo reads the verified services and open hours out of the Square account your team already works in, and writes the booking back into that same account. The reading is live today. The writing runs in closed beta.

Be the customer for a minute.

The diagram above ends at a person asking for a time. That chat is real, and it is open. Type the ask one of your clients would make and see the other side of your calendar.

Opens the WhatsDo agent at app.whatsdo.com. Sign-in comes first. No credit card needed.

An assistant stops at your phone number.

It finishes the booking in any calendar it can open. Yours it cannot, and nothing tells you: no missed call, no unanswered email, nothing in Friday’s calendar.

On 22 July 2026 we read the med spas of San Francisco one by one, and almost every door had a different booking system behind it. Which one you run decides whether an agent can hold a time.

One way in

Connect the booking system you already run. What agents can see is up to you, service by service.

For service businesses

Keep your booking system. Be reachable by an agent.

  1. 01Connect the Square account your staff already works in.
  2. 02Agents see verified services, prices and open slots.
  3. 03When the write opens, bookings land in the same calendar as everything else.
  4. 04Nobody on your floor learns new software. Staff see agent bookings as ordinary appointments.

What we will not do

Three promises, so nobody has to ask.

  • We never sell to your clients.

No consumer marketplace, no discovery feed, no reselling your customers to anyone.

  • Your phone still rings the way it always did.

This is not a receptionist and it never answers for you.

  • What we promise is that an agent can reach you.

We report the bookings that completed, and nothing else.

  • An engraving of a street auction where the bidders hold up empty paddles, while a shopkeeper stands calmly in their own doorway with arms folded.

Every change we ship is dated.

Including the ones that moved backwards.

Building an agent instead?

An AI transactability audit for an example med spa: stages one and two reached, matching partial, availability stamped as the point where the booking stops, and the booking itself cut off by the torn edge of the sheet.
